Thank you for the information... For some reason, after more than three weeks, I hadn't received any answer to my inquiry. *NM*

I actually exchanged email with Randy, the owner of Bare-Metal Foil. He's having some supply issues at the moment, but it sounds like he's trying to get that resolved.

Just remembered a conversation I had this weekend with a fellow car modeler. I went to his house on Saturday, and bought some new models. He said that modeling foil is in short supply. Maybe in Texas, but is that true nationwide?
I buy mine direct from Bare Metal. *NM*
Have you visited their website lately? It has been showing all of their foils, except gold and black, as being out of stock for at least the last two months. *NM*
I just checked their website, they are out. I've emailed them asking when they will be replenishing their stock. *NM*
Hopefully you'll get some type response. My email, sent early last month, has only been met with radio silence. *NM*
No I haven't. Last time I bought foil I bought two sheets to save on shipping costs. Still have plenty. *NM*
My normal Oz supplier has also been unable to supply any BMF chrome type of foil for at least 6months, I thought it was a DT issue but maybe not. *NM*
And a problem with having a "stash" of it, is that the adhesive properties diminish with time. *NM*
I think I've found a way to avoid that....
Didn't someone say you should put them in the fridge? Seems like I remember that from somewhere. *NM*
Storing in a sealed container ought to do it. I've got some absolutely ancient BMF that has no right to still be any good, and yet it is *NM*
And there are adhesives to help bring back stuff that lost the stikkum *NM*
I have used gold leaf adhesive...brush on, let dry, then use the foil like nothing happened *NM*
I bought a couple packages some months ago and they come in zip lock type bags so I'm not too worried. Plus, I've been getting a little lazier on my last couple projects because they were just shelf models and I used Sharpies and Molotow instead of BMF. *NM*

Hopefully, the problem gets resolved. I've been starting to paint out my winter projects...may shift to some rods or stuff that doesn't require foil for now *NM*
