...I generally think of them in three sizes: the small fronts, tall/narrow (about as wide as the small ones), and tall/wide. There's another set of Indy car tires, those are two sizes only (fronts and rears) and have a different tread pattern from the more common "MPC hollow tires". Those did get used in a few regular car kits, the Volare Roadrunner, Chevy Monza with IMSA bodywork (the MPC one), and the last Chevette kit.
The common ones most often have Goodyear lettering with early ones having Firestone or MPC (yes, MPC) lettering. I've only got a couple of those, don't know what kit used them. I'd be wary of using the early tires as they tend to soften the wheels. I believe Round 2 wiped the lettering from them (or retooled without lettering) and now prints them as needed.
