  • In this R2 video at the start there is a shot showing a "Moon" display with what appears to be a Mod Rod model box version of the Ala Kart....does or is such a thing planned or done?.....anyone notice this "kit" pictured?...; *NM*
    • That one is coming too. Same parts as the Mod Rod double kit, with Mooneyes decals and box art *NM*
    • I saw it too. Most likely it's a reissue of the Mod Rod from a few years ago. It didn't have all of the parts for the AK *NM*
      • Saw some comments in the discussion section of the board that shall not be named that made zero sense to me
        • New tool AK is also a layup from a production standpoint since it has been run recently/currently. Run the kit, print the box like you said. *NM*

            • Soooooo... talked to our friend Steve at IPMS, the Mooneyes IS Mod Rod, not the new tool
              • Just an opinion, but even if it were 100% right the new tool Kart probably hit way too late...

                  • I'd like even the retooled Slingster again....tho' preference would have been the original but I know the S'Cool Bus put paid to that hope so that retool would have to suffice........lol. *NM*

                  • I don't think the Slingster hit with a thud. They dried up pretty quick on shelves around here, and bring decent money now. What hurt it was the perception the kit (or at least some parts) were underscale. Not just smaller than the original, but that they were not 1/25. *NM*
                    • The last few ones of the original run did end up going to closeout; I picked up a couple of them that way and also found another one even cheaper after that *NM*

  • Shame on Round2. Sean Spencson?? Really. Also, I saw a Swan!! Sean happens to help Round2 many kits. I would think they could get his name correct. It's Sean Svendsen!!! C'mon Round2. *NM*
