It's been a minute since I did parts count to see what an MR would need to be an AK. R2 did a bangup job on the Barris Roccoco-style tidbits like nerf bars, the odd suspension, etc.

But guessing due to licensing and what I presume are fairly vicious lawyers, the name would not be featured, famous as it may be.

Also entirely possible that having two very similar branded kits on the same shelf would be confusing to retailers and distributors.

Original AKs have plummeted in value (naturally, since I tracked down some very nice ones) so I'm not entire sure of the profit to be had, but as an academic exercise, it would be interesting.
