North side of Austin, Texas, just south of the I-35/ US 183 intersection. Just north of a Dodge dealership that closed around the same time.

Went there with some friends in the '90s. The license camera was broken on that day, so we wound up with 'temporary' paper licenses. My friends and I didn't manage to make another trip to MGP for six months. Their paper licenses got lost or thrown out, but I still had mine, so I didn't have to pay the higher fee for non-license holders!! Got my license.

Enjoyed the video games there. One was a neat little game called 'Joust' (2-player jousting game...on flying ostriches!). Then there was the "Aussie rules" football video game that was 'played' indoors...and the two-man PINBALL machine (two players at once!).

Forgot what year MGP closed, but the facility became home to a used car lot (or was it a rental car lot. I forget). The lot just parked their inventory all over the track surface. Place was torn down around ten years ago. New building now there (quick online search says there's a restaurant supply store there now.)
