Help! PICs This just doesn't seem right to me. The colors aren't right. Any suggestions!
With that role of toilet paper next to it, I'm affraid to ask what it is. *NM*
That's what it's missing. The chestnut brown color. *NM*
This guy has it figured out. *Video* *NM* *LINK*
Oops, that was part three. Here is part one *Video* *NM* *LINK*
Part two. *Video* *NM* *LINK*
Thanks for the videos. I skimmed the first 2. I will go back later and spend some time watching them. *NM*
Terry, I don't think it's the colors, per se. It's the brown looks like a vein running through the gray. Need more color variations mottled throughout? *NM*
I think l figured it out. I was thinning the colors out too much and the dark gray background wasjust overpowering it. I've done a series of dry brush colors and it is much better. I'll post some pics later. *NM*

Much better.....not as "Shiny".....mabe you can blow or sprinkle some fine dirt on it to really tone it down ??? *NM*
Oh....If you do this don't forget to set the dirt with a few mists of aerosol spray (Aqua Net) !!! *NM*
I will spray some flat clear when l am closer to being done. *NM*
Looks better! *NM*
Thanks *NM*
Definitely looking better. Maybe get some lichens or something from a model railroad shop to put some random vegetation among the rocks. *PIC*
I'm going to do a parking areaand then decide on what kind of vegetation. *NM*
What kind of rock formation are you trying to replicate? *NM*
Nothing in particular. *NM*
Color changes helped. Occasional shrubs here and there would add some variety. *NM*
