You need to get the very thin urethane tape. McMaster is one source. Let me see if I can dig up my info on the right stuff. You just stick it down on some clean glass, cut some thin strips with an xacto knife, and then apply to your model (or glass). Peel the

I have, in certain situations. It's used for cell phone screen repair. KaisiKing brand on "that" site. If the glass fits tight I think I'd trust it. Best part is it came with a great set of curved point tweezers--best I've ever bought. *NM*
I often use the 1/8 inch double sided tape sold at Michaels. I also use it for license plates. *NM* *LINK*
I dislike any kind of tape for permanent fixing as it isn't permanent. It decays over time.
There is also a product called 'Adhesive Transfer tape'. I used it when I was working. Not sure if it's the same as what everyone is talking about. *NM*
