    • One allegation I heard back then, was that the 'Stroker Ace' Thunderbird was based on a STOCK Thunderbird frame and body! The early Monogram 1983 NASCAR Thunderbird kit is "100% accurate" only to the movie car. *PIC*

  • I used to see challenges here on the Board like the "Triple Dog Dare Ya" and similar group builds. Did we ever have anything like a "Finish Your Stalled Project" Build? *NM*
    • One time (and I'm serious) we had a build going to "pass it one builder to the right" for your stalled build - but they all stalled out, too. I think I might still have it in the archives
      • Re: I don't remember that, but given a couple of the characters that Tom used to deal with on a weekly basis, I think it's safe to say that had a lot of potential to go completely sideways. The board was a bit wild in the early days.
