  • I've seen this artwork for the Camaro on the net , don't know if it's official or not with all the AI slop but it certinly mooks like the kit will when released with the '78/'79 hood and wire wheels. , , It does look legit to me. *NM* *PIC*

        • It would be interesting to find out what happened to the ‘80-‘81 hood tooling. They must have lost it early on since the ‘82 release “Thunder-Z” had the ‘78-‘79 style hood in them. *NM*
      • Yes, Like Mark said, the '80/'81 hood seems to have been lost in the shuffel. If you want a factory stock '81 Z you'll need a hood and stock wheels ,, and a small block 4BBL. The kits have always had an incorrect big block. '72 was the last year for a factory big block. *NM*

          • In MPC world, you could get a big-block 'Vette through 1977, and a Hemi 'Cuda or Challenger through '74 *NM*
            • They weren't wrong - would have probably swapped for the same if they were 'correct'
