I remember that also about Kennedy; I came down to the living room to watch my favorite show, Fireball XL-5, and thought, what the heck? *NM*

I was 11 or 12 years old and saw it probably on a black and white TV. I also remember in 1963, getting home from 1st grade or so to watch cartoons, but sadly there was only the news of President Kennedy's assassination. *NM*

I was almost four years old so I doubt I remember it but I love the whole Apollo program. My wife and I went to Canaveral back in February and toured the facility. There's just something about that whole program that gets me right in the feels, if you know what I mean, *NM*
We did. Had just moved into our present house. Oldest son was just months old. "One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind". *NM*

I turned five years old on July 20, 1969. Don't remember that day, offhand, but I do have some memories from that era.
Yep. I was 10 at the time. I think everyone watched it live. I had all the space model kits too. *NM*
I was 11 and remember it clearly. After the first landing, the rest were forgotten *NM*
