• I need some honest opinions. PIC I want to build a scene of a mountian road so I can take some pics of my models. This is about a 2 hour experiment of just using plaster of paris and getting a feel for making rocks. Opinions.

  • What are the dimensions? I think it is going to be difficult to get the feel of it being a road in a mountain area.

  • Cool concept! Back in the 70's Peterbilt Motors Co used a setting similar to this.
    • This was just an experiment. I'd never used plaster of paris and l wanted to try my hand at scribing it to look like rocks. My plans are to go much larger. *NM*
  • Some model railroad company makes rock molds for plaster. *NM*
    • You can get "rubble" for model armor diorama, which is also cast plaster...
      • I know there is a lot available out there. I'm trying to go on the cheap. Since this is kinda replacing building kits, I don't want to spend alot. *NM*
        • The rock mold I'm talking about is under $10 *NM*

    • I've seen those. I haven't researched them. Do they have them in 1/24. Well, I guess is a rock is any scale you want them to be. Ok, off to hobby town. *NM*
