I think the light NON-metallic blue was used through 1965. The metallic blue I believe started in the 1966 model year. *NM*

In the '60s they were really just light metallic blue. Maybe with a tiny touch of green. But at some point in the '70s they went to a non-metallic duck egg blue. *NM* *PIC*
The Scalefinishes website shows light blue for 59-64, light metallic blue for 65 -70, and a different light blue for V8 for 71-73. *NM*
MCW also has the same colors in their enamel line. *NM*
