• Would a tuck 'n roll interior be "right/correct" for a 50s 60s gasser back in the day? Is that more for a show car than a go car back then?
  • A lot of them had show quality interiors, paint, and chrome back then. Only the lower class (heavier/smaller engine) cars would have had rear seats though *NM*
  • Here's a '55 Chevy that got me thinking. I like how well the roll bar blends in, although it's just a hoop. No bars going forward or back. *LINK* *PIC*
    • That one is a modern "street gasser"; note the exhaust system and bolt-on "12 spoke'' style front wheels. Probably would have run D or even E/Gas back in the day *NM*
      • They also didn't have shift lights (as shown in interior picture) "back inna day". Car was probably built pretty recently. *NM*
    • Gassers of the era had to have full interiors, and even a passenger seat. So, many owners took the opportunity to make the interior stylish and comfortable. Many shows actually had a class for best race interior. *NM*
  • The various issues of the MPC Flip Nose 57 has diamond pattern upholstery, so why not tuck n roll? It's probably a safe bet, Mike. This 55 is way cool! *NM*
  • My dad owns a '31 Chevy Street Gasser that was built in '66, and has a black tuck'n roll interior. Sooooo.... yes. *NM*
  • Look at Revells Stone,Woods & Cook Willys gasser kit has, it would have depended on the owners available funds but if you were winning then why not. *NM*
