Truck fan found out who supplied the trucks for the movie 'Convoy', then tracked him down. Turns out that the man got them all back after the movie was completed, but one of the 'Rubber Duck' Macks was destroyed in a rollover accident in the '80s (one of the trucks was abandoned in a former quarry)...but the remains were still in his hands. Man died in another accident, but his sister and brother took control of the trucking company. The fan acquired the parts from the two Macks and the tank trailer to rebuild the Duck.
The fan made a return trip to get the cop cars, but the family had to sell the remaining vehicles due to a medical issue, and sold them for scrap.
