In Response To: From what I recall, the Volare/Aspen platform did not support dual exhausts, which were a crucial component of the original 'E58 powertrain. I'm no expert on Mopar post 1974, but it is possible they used E58 order code for the milktoast A/V 360 4bbl , but it would not .. ()

Am I recalling correctly that selfsame powetrain could be installed in the short lived "Feather Duster?"

Not a Mopar historian by any means, but I recall that Car Craft had a series on hopping one up - maybe HRM or PHR had a series on prepping an E58 for NHRA?

I'm sure the Chevy beanies went to work on the double to try to factor it into oblivion or kill it outright.
