A little story behind this build.... This all started with a friend of mine offering to give me an 69 AMX body (I found it on Pinterest) that was a wheel stander, Yes you read it right Wheel Stander. Anyway he found 5 bodies 4 of which were painted and decals and one bare bodied. He brought them over to the house to see if I wanted to buy them... When I had them all unwrapped kind of dusty and finger printed I made him an offer which was excepted but I really didn't want this one but he talked me into it ( it had some real car decals on it but the wrong car and I wasn't crazy about it ) but what the heck I figured I'd sell it. I noticed that night when I started cleaning them up, as I'm cleaning I noticed a little silvering under one of the decals so just curious got the best of me and out came the scotch tape and WA-LA all the decals came out clean and all I did was give it a little polish. I spent a couple of hours deciding on decals and decided on "INSANITY". Got my sheet plastic out, Pencil, Compass, and a ruler. Spent a few hours finding wheels and tires I wanted. Cut a notches out for the headers and found a parachute I wanted. Well for an ugly duckling this grew up to be one of my favorite's. Oh and found some red transparent sheets for the windows.
As my typing this I have the 70 Challenger "DODGE FEVER" in the works about half done.
My PenPal Dave thought Oliver needed company between rounds.
