Had to take a day off from work yesterday to take care of some business, and I stopped off at an LHS on the way home. Bought a new kit I didn't know about--the 1/25 scale Revell '82 Camaro Berlinetta Bliss. *PIC*

Bought it because of the new parts Revell tooled for this kit. New base Camaro/Berlinetta front and rear bumpers, base/Berlinetta seats, armrests. Think the flat hood with a blower cutout was in a previous reissue, along with a two-piece hood scoop, but I'm not sure. This is the old Revell kit, not the Monogram 1/24 kit.

Wanted a base Camaro nose for years. Camaro Z28s have rectangular front turn signal lenses; base Camaros and Berlinettas have 'square' lenses.

The old AMT Craig Carter IMSA Camaro racer's front bumper needs a lot of work to get a stock bumper from it.

Yes, Revell did a Camaro Berlinetta years ago...but that kit is 1/16 scale. I've got a built one of those.

Many of the '82-6 Camaros running at the drag strip back then in Stock and SS, were base models or Berlinettas.

Opened the box when I got home. I'm happy with the new parts.

BTW, there's no chrome tree in this kit. The wheels, side mirror faces, interior mirror, valve covers, and a few other parts...are not plated at all.
