Glad to hear it, Terry. It's good for the soul...I'm pleased to see our kids found that out. *NM*

That's cool. My 2 sons finally in their late 40s have started building stuff. Not model cars but working with their hands. *NM*

June 28th was a big day for me. This is going to be a little long so if you want to see the pictures just go ahead and look. PICs If you have nothing to do I'll tell you a little story.
Now THAT build pops! FWIW, my daughter builds 1/18th room dioramas---she's discovered the same joy/satisfaction as I. *NM*

Nice build Terry! That's a neat story and I had to chuckle about burying the model with you. I keep adding to my stash and don't sell enough but I am starting to thin down certain kits. *NM*
Thanks, I know mine is a unique story. I didn't start building a stash until 96 so I didn't have the massive collection that most guys have. I was able to stop with a manageable number of kits but it did take twice as long to thin it out than it did to accumulate it. *NM*
I probably am close to 700-800 kits right now and will be 61 in October. I have a friend who is in his 80's and has close to 3000 kits in his stash. He's not married, has no children and I don't know if he has any plans after he passes. I should ask him. *NM*
Very nice build. *NM*
Thanks *NM*
Very cool build, and you are right about reducing our collections as we get older. *NM*
I have a similar story that has made me cut back on my kits and built models...
Well, good luck. That sounds like a massive job. I wouldn't want try it. *NM*
