I built newer style Indy cars but never built anything vintage... This came about when I acquired Bruce Sadewater's collection. During the sorting of that collection I would run across a few unlabeled, odd size boxes and I just put them aside until I figure out what I had. Well about 3-4 months ago I was sorting some stuff in order to make more room and I ran across this box. I opened it up and here sits this partially built chassis and unpainted body, no decals, no instructions. One night just basically killing time in between Mannix and Cannon I start messing with it, well I got it mocked and taped up so I set it on my display cabinet. Well after knocking off the trailer I had it setting on I said " Self just build it, it should take long". About 10 days later and 10 days only because the enamel had to gas out good before I started handling it.
No decals I became the driver. I thought during the build I would like to build an untouched one but when I was done I rethunk that and decided it's kind of a finicky kit so no I wouldn't be building another on.
