Lyn was a spokes person for JCPenny. When I lived in Charlotte around mid 1990's Lyn was to appear at JCP at Eastland. I got there a few minutes before her, a number of photos I had taken of her on track. She arrived and I was the only one in line to met her. Not a surprise in a town where you'd see DE Sr or Petty at the mall. I got to talk to her, a GREAT lady, showed my photos and talked a while as still no one else. Meeting Lyn led me to offer a St. James Mercur kit and decals for her Mustang also.
