I consider myself OK with tech. I was a System Analyst for a top 3 bank, Got into laser cutting early on (when a cutter was $30K). And now I am 3D printing most of the day. But there are days I want to dump all tech into the trash.
I needed to print some decals today. My high end printer is ONLY used for decals so it sits for periods as I am selling decals still not the volume that I had when I had ebay and a website.
Printer would power up and shutdown. I did this many times trying to get it up long enough to see what the issue was. I did this for an hour before I found out my household Wi-Fi unit was trying to talk to the printer. I never set it up to do so....and didn't want it to start. Another 10 minutes on the Wi-Fi try to convince it not to talk to my printer and I got it working. As it often happens, 3 minutes job becomes 90 minutes job.
Like Mr;s Lubner said Tech 'Is a blessing and a curse'.
Thanks for the ramble
