Some nice art for the packaging, and boom another slot at HL filled at a relatively low cost, and a super popular subject make it a can't miss product that will go together quickly and well.

We can gnash teeth about the platform level detail, but serious builders throw that away for 3D.

FWIW, did some light grokking with a few kits kicking around Ragtop Manor, and dangitall if the front bumper locator pins for the AMT '72 GMC flareside (or whatever it was called) and the '72 longbed line up perfect with my '62 (subject of some speculation a while ago.)

That will be one of the first I get to once the shop re-opens...

  - That's like saying it'll be in a box. It will have parts attached to sprue. I was wondering what the changes will be to the original kit. I saw the NNL photos, looks like very few changes other than a shorter frame and bed. *NM*
    - That's it. Just the new parts to convert it to the short bed version *NM*

        Older than that...a couple of parts date back to the '67 annual, as does the design of both of the kits used to create the current one *NM*
        No, but I'd love to see them pay the respect to the kit that they did with the 60 Ford and other rebirths they have produced. This is a high interest subject and one that can either help or hurt Round 2 given price points and upcoming competition in the market with Moebius *NM*
        
        You're comparing new kits ('60/'63 Fords) to a conversion. Round 2/Lionel has had the ball for over fifteen years; replacing an existing kit with a new one isn't the way they do things *NM*
