The owner's name on the Chevron gas station is associated with someone who lived in Canoga Park, CA and would be about 100 now. It seems that the location would have been on the southwest corner of Victory Blvd. and Owensmouth Ave. with the camera pointed north/northwest. The Sears store in the background appears in old photos with the same arrangement of palm trees as one in Canoga Park. Also, the license plate on the car was issued approximately in September 1967 (but that's only the issue date and not the date of the photo). I grew up a few miles from Canoga Park and this info seems accurate to me.
