OK, the valve covers are labeled 'Maserati', but Ferrari did build the engine. Originally from a 2007 Quattroporte.
Am reminded of an MCMA member who swapped a Cadillac Northstar V8 into a Ferrari (think it was a 355...maybe a 348...don't think it was a 360 Modena). I told him that it was inspired, but given the then-recent reports of non-reliability in some Northstars, he said he became aware of it shortly after he finished the swap.
And who builds a 911 into a drift car...LOL
