And used a 12 volt 70 amp hour battery as standard. The battery looks like a 6 volt but could be other. I am not overly familiar with that era's batteries. I contemplated adding a modern battery as well but decided to stick with the kit supplied. I may pop it out and replace it. Or just leave it. On the fence.
