This started out in PA... My Pen Pal Dave and I did a little bartering I got this and only having the body, glass, bumpers he knew I would do something with it. Well I was on one of my kicks and this is what I could only think of, didn't have to think hard otherwise I would have hurt myself.
I test fit it on my shortened Corvette PL chassis and with a little massaging I would have had a plan but I wanted it to be stretched so I just built the PL chassis as is BUT I cut out the Hornet front wheel openings and moved them forward to give the appearance of being stretched. Added the rear spoiler and this is what I came up with. I was having trouble in my mind because the roll cage would have stuck out the rear window and I didn't want not use the rear window I moved the engine and the seating compartment forward which worked out perfect because that place the engine in the correct position. Thinking to myself "Man all the planets are lining up". I used an old set of Lucas decals for the AMC stuff and yes since it's a fake car I'm the driver.
