(PICS) Stock '57 Ford F100 standard cab short box, modified and detailed from AMT's '60 Custom cab kit

I'm just finishing up this detailed '57 Ford F100 (short box, non 'Custom Cab', small back window, etc. from AMT's recently re-released '60 custom cab long-box kit.
Aside from the small back window and shortened box, some of the now added details include...separate frame modified from a '56 Ford (AMT's '60 kit uses a one piece promo style frame/underbody), steering i-beam front axle, correct 272" Y-block V8, opening doors, operating tailgate (with fabricated correct complex chains), tubing exhaust, fabricated inner doors and interior, etc., a fabricated stock floor with the hidden interior steps, separate door handles and windshield wipers (stuff languishing in my parts bin for years), and black wire windshield and rear window gaskets .
I used a 'Texas 3D Customs' '57 hood, grille, and front bumper to which I added simulated hood hinges and a separate Ford nose emblem.
Paint is basecoat/clearcoat to simulate the available Inca Gold (a warm yellow) and colonial white two-tone.
Although the model represents a relatively basic '57 pickup, many of the fabricated subtleties and details took some research and quite a while to sort out but I'm really delighted with the finished model
