Using the 65 AWB Chevelle as my starting point... Frist I had to build the chassis and get it up on wheels just to be sure where my wheel opening are going to land. Then I took that #%^& body and covered the opening with some sheet Evergreen then once in place the body work begins. Once the body work is done I had to add the wheel opening edges to give it more of a factory look and for strength during launch. Since I was building a totally strip down version or a race car no windows (except windshield), no trim but on the windshield, no head/tail lights, no door handles, etc... the rest is pretty obvious. No place for Oliver to sit either. Being able to build the Buick completes my AWB mid-size GM cars without spending a bundle of money for the Buick.
