Saw a Facebook post last night that noted the death of former racer and sprint car team owner/Ford dealer/New Mexico lieutenant governor Casey Luna *PIC*

Twas Monogram that did a model of his team race car, but based it on tooling shared with other sprint car models, resulting in the car having a Chevy motor under the hood instead of the Ford it should have had. There was a diorama done shortly after Monogram released the Luna kit, that the builder had the Chevy name and bowtie plastered on the pit crew's uniforms....forgot who built it, but I've seen it. Was it at the old Southwest Challenge?

Luna was 95. RIP.
