I love the huge articulated locomotives, period. There's nothing virtual about all that steel; the whistle alone is worth the chase.
Likewise, kudos to the RR for keeping the old monster in semi-regular service, it does remind people about how important the RR is to our life, even if we don't interact with it every day.
But, I'm wondering about the range and how often it needs to stop to refuel...?
Pretty sure that innaday, they had to make multiple freight or passenger stops so it really wasn't an issue. But now, with steam as nostalgia, most of the water towers and coal stations are the subject of ruin hunters.
