Well in the spring of 1973, I bought an ancient Kodak Brownie, for 50 cents, at a yard sale and started taking pictures at car shows that I went to with Dad....

In 1975, for my 8th grade graduation, my grandparents got me a Kodak Instamatic X15, which was a big leap forward for me at the time.

I used that camera until sometime in the early 80s, when I bought a simple Minolta 35mm point and shoot....
Finally, things really picked up with the purchase of my first PC and digital camera in 2005.

Here we are twenty years later and my Fotki contains over 296000 images.... mostly car shows, races, model cars... and almost entirely my own content, including scans of many of my old original film pictures.
