    • I've seen it called "Penta Magenta", but that might have been a Canadian thing. *NM*
      • There were no special Canadian names for 1970/71 FM3. Officially it is: US or Canada Dodge = Panther Pink , US or Canada Plymouth = Moulin Rouge , Chrysler Australia = Magenta *NM*
        • Okay, how about other High Impact colours? I’ve seen references to “Ultra Violet” and “Super Yellow” in Canadian sales literature. I don’t see references to these colour names in American sources. Any thoughts on that? *NM*
          • I think most of the time the U.S. and Canada used the same color codes and names. Australia is sometimes unique. FC7 was Plum Crazy on Dodges, and In-Violet on Plymouths in the U.S. and Canada, and Australia. But Australia also had their

            • FWIW, here's the colour chart from the 1970 Canadian Dodge dealer data book. There are some notable variations from US, but pink is not on it, presumably because it was added later in the model year. *LINK* *PIC*

                • Another interesting thing to note is that there is only one “Lime Green” on there. Whether it is Sublime or Greengo is not clear due to the scan colour variations. The tale of two ‘70 Swingers:
                  • The code "FJ5" tells the story, which is what we in the U.S. call "Lime Light" on '70 Plymouths or just "Lime" on '70 Dodges. *NM* *PIC*

                      • I’m aware of the paint codes on the fender tags and the difference in names between Dodge and Plymouth in the US. What I am saying is that there were two different lime greens, the second being FJ6 Greengo (Dodge) and Sassy Grass Green (Plymouth)…

    • Hi Bill. The paint is from Scalefinishes. I buy all of my factory colors for bodies and engines from Scalefinishes. I buy their basecoat which requires a clearcoat to be sprayed over the color. *NM*
