I'd be trying a small cut off wheel in a Dremel or similar........I don't think any of the hobby razor saws would touch it......lol. *NM*
This, one thing to add...clamp tightly in a vise very close to where the cut will be made. File or grind the cut end as desired while it is still clamped *NM*

You will flat-out RUIN any tool made from HSS, like saws, nippers, tubing cutters, etc. Carbide cuts it, as do diamond-coated tools. Best thing to use is an cut-off wheel made from aluminum oxide or silicon carbide. Dremel makes them in many sizes,
