I just painted the body today. Although a couple of weeks ago I gave it a good white primer base coat as it's molded in yellow and I didn't want it looking greenish. I painted it in Testors Chrysler Engine blue as that was the closest color I had to the actual blue, and I have 1 1/2 bottles of it. It matches the 1:1 car better than the box art does.
