Is it me?.....I have used & liked Enamel paint for 60yrs, mainly Humbrol but some Testors,Revell & lately some Tamiya enamels especially gloss colours level nicely & shine...have also some Tamiya acylics, matt & gloss...the gloss are a PITA, don't level or shine well &
I can’t wait until we can get those Tamiya enamels past the tariff mess. They are great to use. *NM*
I bought a bunch of them on eBay, from a seller in Poland. Was fully expecting to have to pay extra...never did, and nobody has contacted me about it. Price with shipping was very good too *NM*
I'm thinking the acrylics must be clearcoated to get a glossy finish. I'm hoping to get back to airbrushing later this year, and I'm probably going to experiment with the ones I already have *NM*
Yes, acrylics are my last choice for paint. Difficult to work with. Give me old-school Testors enamel any day! *NM*

I used to use, and swear by enamels; years ago, a friend of mine who was a master painter (he's passed on) got me to try lacquers. That's all I use now- easier, quick drying, better results- they're all I use now. I tried acrylics, uneven results; ..
Thanks guys, comments appreciated.....lol. *NM*
