Spotlight Hobbies


So sad. I saw part of the interview after his last win and he seemed to be a little out of breath. I was thinking he should have been in the hospital then, but maybe the stubborn competitor in him thought he could handle it.

Probably not an unusual trait in anybody who races for a living, or perhaps for many of us, I’m sure.

It’s a shame as it sounds like it might have been preventable, but we won’t know until the details come out. The guy was still on his game and should have had many years left to enjoy with his family.

Godspeed and perhaps a wake up call for us to carefully guard our health. Without it, you have nothing.
