Pics would just show a smooth finish on a spoon. When I thinned 50-50 it was runny and splotchy. I know many don't like acrylics but...

I like not using and cleaning with solvents. Endless supply of cleaner at the sink!
As for clears, Tamiya is consistent. Deco Art Dura Clear, as per another HPI Guy video has worked OK for me.
BUT I admit you may not get the ultimate, show car, trophy winning finish with acrylics.
Nothing I build or paint will be getting any trophies, anyway. LOL.
