Shame they didn't include an injected Nailhead like the original pre FOMOCO version used rather than the Ford FE engine. *NM*
The lower half of the engine can't be seen, you could "cheat" and use the "top half parts" of a Buick mill. That car had three engines, at least three sets of wheels, and several paint jobs over the years *NM*
The injected nailhead from the '66 Wildcat would be a pretty fair stand in for the kit engine
I built my Silhouette using the Buick from AMT's 40 Coupe & home cut metal stacks, also modified the body underneath so the sides could be glued B4 paint & a replaceable piece to allow the frame inserted after.......not perfect but looks o/k ...lol. *NM*
