Revell issued the kit engine with a bellhousing and transmission; has anyone messed with bits from other kits to put it in street trim? I recall Norm did something, but not recalling the content, exactly.

Would the AMT parts from one of their nailheads ('40 Coupe, the Rivvis...) do the trick?

It is obscure as can be, for sure, but there's something about the Revell PP kit that calls to me for the recent hot rod parts kit releases. The AMT kits have the hole in the block for the most part, or become orphans by yanking the engine.

Best nailhead absent Revell was in the one-and-done 'custom' '32 Sedan that was in the Willys kit, really had it down, but the kit is largely unobtanium now.
