I would get on 'kicks' for certain kits back in the late '90s as Ebay exploded, and one of them was the '62 - there's a backstory, but not germaine...(insert Buford Justice line here)

I managed to get two completes together, but one has a bed that is chopped up in a misguided customizing attempt.

So, the search goes on; apparently, the bed is not a commodity item common to that generation, but I'm not 100% sure on the interchanges.
