There IS a mid- to late '60s Dodge crew cab in resin. Forgot who did it, but it's a nice one

Quick search on the internet claims that Modelhaus did a '64, and that a company called Resin Model Ranch has a '65 D700 crew cab. I think I have the Modelhaus kit (full chassis, interior bucket, bed).

Haven't built it yet due to some indecision on my part (gee, go for a '60s drag car hauler, or maybe a Vietnam War-era USAF flight line truck? If only I had two cabs...)

- I wouldn't depend on the primer to fill anything bigger than sanding scratches. It will shrink, and the styrations that many 3D items have will rear their head *NM*

    - Wouldn't buying a high-end printer solve the problem? Assuming the .stl file was created correctly, a printer with higher resolution will create a smoother part. Back when they were still doing it, I had Shapeways print some parts in "high resolution resin" and

        All those things you mention for the resin printer were the reasons I wasn't going to get one. Now I'm intrigued. Thanks for posting about your experiences. *NM*
      - In a word, no. Entry level printers today are as good as premium printers from three years ago. 8K screens, larger printing surfaces, they are all equipped well. The weak point now is the software.
