If not a model we will never see in plastic.....
Wouldn't buying a high-end printer solve the problem? Assuming the .stl file was created correctly, a printer with higher resolution will create a smoother part. Back when they were still doing it, I had Shapeways print some parts in "high resolution resin" and
A HIGH end resin printer may give a better print Q......
All those things you mention for the resin printer were the reasons I wasn't going to get one. Now I'm intrigued. Thanks for posting about your experiences. *NM*
In a word, no. Entry level printers today are as good as premium printers from three years ago. 8K screens, larger printing surfaces, they are all equipped well. The weak point now is the software.
There IS a mid- to late '60s Dodge crew cab in resin. Forgot who did it, but it's a nice one
