First up I know it's not perfect. It looks better in person and will do what I wanted. Getting a good finish on a 3D Filament body is tough and lots of work. I used half a can of Duplicolor #1699 and that was not the best pick. After each coat of primer I wet sanded. Not sure how many coats. It took a whole can of Tamya black to get it just OK. I am working on the other Lark body and I have learned. I am using Duplicolor ref FILLER primer. After just two coats the hood looks better than this black car. So learn as I go!!
Right now 3D filament printing is not as good as good resin cast. I learn each print how to make things better. We are still early on in 3D tech. Current printers are 3 axis. Just announced is a 5 axis printer that will handle compound curves. All parts of 3D are changing weekly. Someday it will equal and pass injection. Best part is I am having more fun in this hobby than ever.
Thanks
