I got my first Auto-World catalog in the summer of 1978, got it from a coupon in a model kit (forgot which one).
When I finally got in in the mail, on my way back from the post-office on my bike, I got into a heads-on collision with a girl on her bike. Really! LOL (not much harm done, exept a bent fork on her bike)
I still have that catalog; very well worn, along with a few more recent ones.
Their last catalog was in 1992, I believe.
