The Mustang II is molded in tan plastic. Intact, with the faded remains of the original stickers on it. Missing the plastic pull T-handle.
Same vendor also had some model kits. Picked up a Jimmy Flintstone Firebird conversion body for the 2009 Camaro, for $10. He liked that I spent $20 with him (another relative sharing his booth had some old Pop Mech, Pop Sci, and Mechanix Illustrated issues in a box. $1 each, and I bought five), that he threw in a '69 Malibu body and chrome tree (Countdown series issue)...AND a Palmer '67 Corvette (gee, what do I do to him that was wrong? 8b )
He also had a few AMT '90s promos (Stealth,'93 Camaro, Dodge Ram), but I already have those. He also had a JF chopped '36 Ford sedan body (chopped too much for my tastes).
The DM 'vette is missing the windshield and most of the windshield frame, all the bumpers, the grill, one wheelcover, one wheelcover spinner, and the bottom of the front fascia. To be honest, I haven't looked under the hood yet. The engine is still there. Vendor was selling loose Hot Wheels for $1 each, and he had a few flat cabinets with them inside...along with that 'Vette. So why not get it?
Another vendor with 1/1 Oldsmobile parts had some promos and toys ('59 Edsel, '66 Mustang fastback...). He even had some of the now-rare Gay Toys '64 Fords for sale. I don't remember those cars having a '62 Olds F-85 grill molded in...
I only got through half the swap meet. Finish it off later today or tomorrow. Pate dropped the Sunday part of the meet a few years ago.
There's also a car show in the infield, called 'Fuel Fest'. Probably not going this year.
