My first 3D automotive print I am happy with..... *PIC*

I have looked at scratchbuilding a 64/65 Studebaker Lark 2 door for years. Putting it off paid off.....I found this artwork online and printed it last night while I slept. Pretty happy with it. Only basic clean up has been done. Needs fine tuning yet. Artwork is VERY well done and provides a complete kit. I have found that HOW you print makes a big difference too. Grille came out just OK first print but rotated it and it worked much better. Printed with elegoo Carbon printer in PLA. Art can be found on the net. Thanks

- Chassis just came off the printer...... *PIC*
  - Chassis looks like a midsize GM piece. The Stude frame should look like the Avanti frame, minus the X-member which was used only for convertibles *NM*
    - Didn't Studebaker use the same basic frame from 1953 up to & including the last of the Lark variations. *NM*
      - Same frame and suspension. Even the '53 frames (for two series of cars) weren't all-new *NM*
      - Not sure of the precise timeline, but in the early 80s, the Avanti 'revival' builds used the GM metric G-Body frame
    - Yes...not 100% correct.....but print Q is great and it looks good........doubt we will get in an injected kit. Thx *NM*

      - You have to go with what’s out there. I haven’t run across a traditional styrene kit that’s 100% correct yet. I’m sure the Studie will look great built up. *NM*
