This guy (a construction superintendent) got a Christmas bonus, and decided to buy his wife a new car. A local Chevy dealer was blowing out fullsize cars at the time. Any one on the lot, $2,995! He found the only two-door with air conditioning on the entire lot, and it was that one. He didn't want a white car though, so he had it repainted dark blue before his wife saw it...
