That reminds me of a story on an unrestored Plymouth Satellite in Mopar Collectors Guide years ago...

The story on the '68 or '69 Satellite 2-door hardtop, was run because someone found the car in a disused corner of a building that used to be part of a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer near the New York City area. Something fell on the car while it was in inventory (a tree branch? a building sign?), and seriously damaged one of the C-pillars and the adjacent rear fender. Fixing it would've hurt the car value-wise, and for some reason, the car wasn't donated to some school's automotive program (mechanics or auto body), or parted out to keep other cars going.

The question among some Mopar restorers is what's the "correct" way to paint the radiator wall--horizontally (side to side sweeps with the paint gun) or vertically (up and down strokes with the gun). Among the people who found the car was a restorer who wanted the answer, so someone removed the grill to see the wall...

And the answer? One half of the 'outer' surface was painted horizontally, and the other half was painted vertically...
