Leadership asked a lot of the X Garage at the time, so they tended to get a lot of rope for certain adventures and ideas... like Cammer T-Birds. There were some other adventures, but I'd need to recheck my sources.

Alas, some muckety-muck in finance would ask: "Who authorized all this? Somebody get out there an count those cars! There better be a budget authorization for every one of them."
