There IS a book on the history of AM General out there. Written by noted military vehicle historian David Doyle, it covers everything from the Studebaker roots, to 2021. *LINK* *PIC*

Includes a lot of odd trivia, like the short-lived transit bus prototypes in the '70s, to weird production line stuff. Remember a little-known Mercedes-Benz minivan from a few years ago, called the R-Class? AM General actually assembled that vehicle for the U.S. market for M-B!!
Lots of production line photos. Even covers the BUILDINGS used by AM General.

The CCC trucks on the cover? AM General built them for a military contract, because Crane Container Corporation didn't have the facilities to build them in the contract term.

Softcover, Roughly the size of the books Doyle wrote for Squadron, but a bit thicker.
